My number 1 tip to repel fleas, ticks and worms: a nutrient-packed, species-appropriate fresh food diet supercharges your dog’s immune system, making them naturally resilient and better equipped to ward off fleas, ticks and worms.

Detox Before and After a Commercial Flea, Tick, and Wormer:
If you’re using a commercial product, support your dog’s detox process with these options:

* Milk Thistle: 50-100mg per 10kg, twice daily.

* Curcumin: 100mg once daily for a week.

* NAC: 500mg twice daily for 2 weeks, then once daily for another 2 weeks.

* Asparagus & Dandelion Greens: Add to their diet.

* MCT Oil: ½ teaspoon per 5kg of body weight. Introduce slowly.

Holistic Ways to Repel Fleas, Ticks and Worms Naturally:
A fresh food diet is key, but there are also many natural ways to repel pests and support your dog’s health:

* Garlic (in safe amounts - see my other reels for dosages) helps deter parasites.

* Apple Cider Vinegar: Spray as a natural repellent.

* Essential Oils (Neem, Lavender): Dilute heavily + carefully and apply to your dog’s collar or use in a spray bottle.

* Regular Grooming: Thoroughly check your dog’s coat to catch fleas, ticks and other issues early.

* Diatomaceous Earth (Food Grade): Sprinkle on your dog’s coat, bedding and around the home. It dehydrates fleas and ticks but is safe for pets when used as directed.

* Coconut Oil: Rub a small amount into your dog’s coat. The lauric acid helps repel pests while moisturising the skin.

* Pumpkin Seeds: Grind raw, organic seeds and add them to your dog’s food. High in cucurbitacin, which paralyses worms and aids in prevention.
